After their graduation from Bible college, Nathan and Tanya Harrod swiftly transitioned to the mission field in Spain. In 2004, as AIMers, they assumed the pastorate of the Pentecostals of Barcelona and received their missionary appointment to Spain in 2006. During their 19 years of service, the Harrods developed a church culture of evangelism, faith, and leadership development. Under their leadership, the Barcelona church grew to over 400 members, launched twelve daughter churches, and continues to plant more.
Elected as the General Superintendent of the United Pentecostal Church of Spain in 2017, the Harrods oversaw “Vision 2020” which doubled the number of churches in Spain from 47 to 94 in just five years. Today, Spain’s fellowship consists of over one hundred churches. The Harrods also assisted in the opening of the country of Andorra to its first UPCI missionaries in 2019. Nathan and Tanya served as missionary supervisors in Spain and Andorra until 2023 when they were installed as Regional Directors for the Europe Region of Global Missions.
Nathan and his wife Tanya, formerly a missionary kid to Bolivia, have been married since 2001 and have two children, Alaina, and Lincoln.
