The Richardsons have filled multiple roles throughout their missionary career, but the most important tasks they are involved in include Bible school, printing/literature development, and working closely with the national churches in administration. In 2020 their appointment was expanded to include the Indian Ocean Islands of Mauritius, Reunion, Seychelles, Mayotte, and Comoros. They continue to be involved in leadership training, promoting Bible school, and developing literature.
Upon returning to the field, they will be working closely with all the nations with established works, and attempting to get a church planted in Comoros which is the final one that does not have a UPCI presence. Chris is the coordinator for Leadership Development Africa (part of LDI), and Paula is the coordinator for Reaching Africa’s Children & Youth. They are committed to helping enable the work of God throughout the region in any way that they can.
