The Grays began their mission endeavor with a five-week trip to Botswana in 2018 as furlough replacements. Since then, they have served thirteen months in Botswana under the AIM program. Bradley worked alongside a national minister doing Bible studies, counseling, visitor follow-ups, new converts classes, and ministering in the community centers. Patricia taught a fourth-grade class in a Christian school. As a family, they assisted in starting a daughter work and the Grays rotated preaching, teaching, and working with the youth. Zachary helped with the music, Patricia and Patrick taught Sunday school and trained teachers, and Noah even preached a few times.
They returned to Botswana as Associate Missionaries to start a church in a new city. In less than a year, over forty were baptized and twenty received the Holy Ghost. Many Bible studies and new convert classes were taught while four different nationalities were represented in their church.
As Intermediate Missionaries, they will be going to Zambia to assist with the Bible school and Children’s Ministries. They will also help to strategize and implement starting new churches in smaller villages and rural areas. Their passion is reaching the unreached people groups in this hugely populated country.
