After serving as AIMers for five years in the Africa Region, Eddy and Della Mae were appointed to the islands of Mauritius, Reunion and Seychelles in 1996, with the goal of opening the work in Reunion. After establishing the work there, the Kennedys relocated to New Caledonia, another French-speaking island with no apostolic church. Since their arrival in New Caledonia, there have been over two hundred baptized in Jesus’ name. There is currently a church in the capital city of Noumea, several outreach groups in various locations and a Bible school in operation. Eddy is also the area coordinator of the South Pacific.
