The Grations were missionaries in Papua New Guinea for five years, where they restarted Bible school training. Later, they moved to Vanuatu to assist the missionaries there. In 2013, Brother Gration became the field Superintendent of the UPCI Vanuatu after the Sherrys retired. He and Sister Gration have been instrumental in teaching at the GATS certified ACTS II Bible College. As Superintendent, Brother Gration created a Policies and Procedures Manual, a Minister’s Handbook, and updated the national constitution. Brother Gration trained pastors and leaders across Vanuatu, leading to growth and stronger churches. Three new “emerging districts” were formed in the North. He also served as field Superintendent for the Solomon Islands and is now the Area Coordinator for the Central Pacific region. In 2023, Australia was added to the Grations’ appointment because of their burden to establish Apostolic churches in the Australian state of Tasmania, which had none despite its population of nearly 600,000. They plan to establish churches in Tasmania over the next few years while continuing their work in Vanuatu to help with national expansion.
