For Sim and Judy, the last four years have been amazingly eventful. It started with the introduction of a “Church Planting Plan” which saw three new works successfully established, one on the island of Crete, one in Sparta and one in Piraeus (Spanish/Greek). Three new Greek churches joined in fellowship in 2017 and three others are having UPC ministers preach in their churches. The Stricklands are grateful for missionaries Joshua and Christine Moreno, as well as AIMers Brandon and Kerri Reeves who are due to arrive in 2019. With the Morenos taking over Crossroads Church in Athens, the Stricklands have returned to their home in Thessaloniki and resumed their work primarily with the Greek churches.
The work in Armenia has converted and trained two Indian families. They have returned to India and opened a one God, Jesus name church with over 200 converts baptized. The Stricklands continue to work in Albania and with contacts in Northern Macedonia. Crossroads Advanced Studies graduated twenty-one students in 2017-18. One graduate has become a European Regional Missionary to Maastricht, Holland, where he has opened three campuses. Another two opened the work in Sparta and others are active in ministry.
God’s promises for Greece are real!
