Thad and EmmaLee Benson have been involved in missions for a long time. Thad grew up on the mission field as an MK in Madagascar, Togo, and Benin before returning to the States to attend Indiana Bible College, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Missiology. During this time at IBC, he also became an AlMer to Benin for three months. EmmaLee went on an AYC trip to Costa Rica, and the next summer went on the Next Steps program to Paraguay. Upon returning, she attended Indiana Bible College and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Missiology. After graduating IBC, she spent four months on AIM in Ghana. Afterward, she returned to the States and she and Thad were married. They welcomed their first daughter, AddaLee, in March of 2020.
