Justin and Morgan Wright were married in 2012 and have two daughters. Before missions, they served in several different areas in their local church, including children’s ministry, guest services, sign language, choir, and media. They were children’s pastors for nine years, seeing many children baptized in Jesus’ name and filled with the wonderful gift of the Holy Ghost. They oversaw a thriving bus ministry, Sunday school class, and children’s church.
In 2019 they felt the call of God for the foreign mission field but were unsure where that would take them. After several years of seeking, waiting, and preparing, God spoke and directed them to the nation of Bangladesh. They departed on a six-month AIM program in September of 2021. They preached in local churches, taught classes in the Bible college and English as a second language, and intently studied the Bangla language. They returned a second time in August of 2022 for ten months and again for a third time in October of 2023 for another ten months.
The Wrights have served in various capacities on the field such as church planting, Sunday school teaching and training, conducting home Bible studies, preaching in local churches, TESOL, teaching at the Bible college and assisting administratively, and evangelizing. In addition, Morgan helped start a new Sunday school work in the capital city and has assisted with Ladies Ministries and the Bangladesh Network of Prayer.
In October of 2024, they were fully appointed as Intermediate Missionaries to Bangladesh, where they look forward to continuing to work alongside fellow missionaries and nationals. Upon returning to the field, they will be starting a Bangladesh Home Missions program where they prayerfully have a vision to see churches planted in new areas. The Wrights are believing for the promised one million-plus soul revival in Bangladesh.
